A través de un efecto de pantalla dividida, se ve a Jimmy y Mike continuar su viaje de regreso a Albuquerque a través del desierto, mientras una ansiosa Kim espera en su apartamento alguna noticia sobre el paradero de Jimmy. En el momento en que los dos hombres finalmente llegan a un área donde el teléfono celular de Jimmy recibe recepción, Jimmy llama inmediatamente a Kim y le asegura que está a salvo. Kim se derrumba después de recibir las buenas noticias.
Acto I
En una parada de camiones rural, Jimmy y Mike, habiéndose cambiado de ropa, son recogidos por Tyrus y Victor en una camioneta. En el camino de regreso a la ciudad, Tyrus y Victor explican que Gus ha enviado hombres para limpiar el lugar del tiroteo, pero que no se pudo localizar el Suzuki destrozado de Jimmy. Mike evita que Jimmy, exhausto, se quede dormido y le explica que tiene que inventar una historia para Lalo .explicando por qué la recolección de dinero tomó treinta y seis horas en lugar de una sola tarde. Al regresar a Albuquerque, Jimmy, visiblemente desaliñado, carga dos bolsas de lona con un total de $ 7 millones en efectivo en una oficina de fianzas y paga la fianza de Lalo. Mientras el personal de la oficina de fianzas cuenta el dinero, los fiscales que manejan el caso de Lalo confrontan a Jimmy y exigen saber de dónde vino todo el dinero. Jimmy afirma que no pregunta cómo obtienen su dinero sus clientes.

Esa noche, Lalo es liberado y saluda a Jimmy afuera del Centro de Detención Metropolitano . Lalo descarta las preocupaciones de Jimmy sobre los fiscales sospechosos y afirma que habrá regresado a México cuando las autoridades descubran que su identidad como "Jorge de Guzmán" es falsa. Lalo felicita a Jimmy por hacer bien su trabajo y le dice que harán "grandes cosas" juntos ahora que él es "amigo del Cartel ". Antes de que lo recojan, Lalo inquieta a Jimmy al revelar casualmente que Kim lo visitó en la cárcel en ausencia de Jimmy.

Cuando Jimmy regresa al apartamento, Kim atiende sus quemaduras solares y sus moretones mientras él le cuenta su tapadera. Después de que ella le prepara un baño de avena, Jimmy confronta a Kim sobre visitar a Lalo y le advierte con severidad que se mantenga alejada de él. Admite que temió por su vida cuando quedó varado en el desierto y que saber que Kim estaba a salvo fue lo único que lo mantuvo adelante; Kim promete no volver a ver a Lalo nunca más. Cuando Kim le pregunta a Jimmy por qué se tomó la molestia de cobrar el dinero de la fianza, Jimmy le dice que busque en una bolsa de lona que contiene el pago de $ 100,000 que acaba de ganar. Sin el conocimiento de Jimmy, Kim descubre su taza de viaje perforada por balas y se da cuenta de que está mintiendo.




Acto II
En Los Pollos Hermanos , Mike le cuenta a Gus lo que pasó en el desierto. Cuando Mike hace un dibujo de un tatuaje que llevaban los hombres armados, Gus se da cuenta de que fueron contratados por Juan Bolsa . Gus llama a Bolsa a su hacienda y le da la noticia de que Lalo pronto regresará a México. Se da cuenta y le explica a Mike que Bolsa organizó el ataque contra Jimmy para proteger tanto el negocio de Gus como el suyo propio. Gus le asegura a Mike que Bolsa no será un problema, pero le advierte que sus acciones deben ser impecables con el Cartel en el futuro. Antes de irse, Mike intenta argumentar que se le permita a Nacho dejar de trabajar como agente doble de Gus y expresa su oposición a amenazar a su padre .. Sin embargo, Gus le dice a Mike que no quiere renunciar a un activo y que Nacho debe mantenerse bajo control, ya que es propenso a la traición. Más tarde esa noche, Nacho llama a uno de los subordinados de Gus y le da una actualización sobre el estado de Lalo; cuando alude a que su trabajo para Gus ha terminado, el subordinado le dice que "solo haga lo que le dicen".

A la mañana siguiente, Kim le prepara el desayuno a Jimmy y le dice que se ha reportado enferma para ayudarlo a recuperarse en casa. Todavía sufriendo un trauma, Jimmy se agita cuando Kim pone naranjas peladas en una licuadora y derrama su cereal. Más tarde, cuando Jimmy se sienta en el sofá con los pies en un recipiente con agua, él y Kim comienzan a ver una película juntos. Jimmy, sin embargo, sigue inquieto. Hablando con él en su oficina en privado, Kim anuncia que renunciará a S&C y entregará la cuenta de Mesa Verde a la firma, manteniendo a sus   clientes pro bono . Antes de irse, Kim recupera el tapón de la botella de tequila de su oficina.
Acto III
En Casa Tranquila , Lalo le dice a Héctor que planea esconderse en México hasta por un año hasta que la policía ya no lo busque, y que Nacho supervisará la operación Salamanca hasta que Tuco salga de prisión en once meses. También le asegura a Héctor que su partida no será el final del juego de poder de los Salamanca contra Gus, que planea usar con influencia a Don Eladio para convertir al jefe del cartel en contra del "Hombre Pollo". Cuando sale de Casa Tranquila, Lalo mira hacia atrás con lástima cuando obligan a Héctor a asistir a la fiesta de cumpleaños de otro convaleciente. Afuera, Lalo le dice a Nacho que lo lleve a la frontera. Víctor observa a los dos mientras se alejan.

En el juzgado , Jimmy pierde un caso contra DDA Bill Oakley , quien se regodea implacablemente de su victoria. Afuera, Mike lo recoge en su automóvil e intenta hablar con él sobre su condición postraumática en curso. Jimmy pregunta cuándo cesarán sus síntomas, a lo que Mike responde que varía según la persona; la única forma en que uno sabe que ha disminuido es cuando sigue con su rutina diaria sin pensar en ello. Mike también afirma que no le molesta tener que matar a los pistoleros en el desierto, ya que era una situación de vida o muerte y estaban en "el juego". Jimmy expresa disgusto porque él y Mike ayudaron a Lalo, quien ambos sabían que había matado a un civil .y le permitió escapar. Mike dice crípticamente que ese "no es el final de la historia", lo que lleva a Jimmy a suponer que Mike le va a hacer algo. Mike le dice a Jimmy que las elecciones que ambos hombres han hecho los han puesto en el camino hacia donde están ahora, y que no se puede hacer nada al respecto. Jimmy no está satisfecho con lo que dice Mike y termina su reunión.

En la frontera con México, Lalo hace que Nacho lo lleve al lugar de recogida donde Jimmy recibió el dinero de la fianza, donde ambos hombres esperan una cita con los primos . Sin embargo, en el último minuto, algo cruza la mente de Lalo y hace que le pida a Nacho que lo lleve varias millas desde el lugar de recogida. Lalo le dice a Nacho que está buscando el auto de Jimmy, buscando corroborar lo que Jimmy le había dicho sobre la avería del auto. Lalo pronto encuentra el automóvil en el barranco donde lo arrojaron y se da cuenta de que está perforado por agujeros de bala. Al darse cuenta de que Jimmy le había mentido, Lalo le pide a Nacho que lo lleve de regreso a Albuquerque.
Acto IV
Mientras Jimmy y Kim discuten sobre su salida de S&C, Jimmy comienza a recibir varias llamadas telefónicas que rechaza por frustración. Kim va a la puerta para responder a alguien que llama, lo que le permite a Jimmy atender la llamada. La persona que llama resulta ser Mike, quien le dice a Jimmy que deje su teléfono encendido pero oculto para poder escuchar. El visitante en la puerta resulta ser Lalo, quien entra al apartamento y le pide a Jimmy que repita la historia que le contó sobre su viaje por el desierto. Afuera, Mike tiene un rifle de francotirador apuntando a la habitación desde un techo cercano. Lalo revela que encontró agujeros de bala en el auto de Jimmy. Kim le dice a Lalo que los transeúntes probablemente le dispararon al auto por diversión y lo reprende por tener un cartel tan desorganizado que tuvo que confiarle el trabajo a Jimmy. Lalo sale en silencio del apartamento. Le dice a Nacho que conduzca a México, pero no al sitio de recogida original.

Este episodio es el mejor calificado del programa en IMDB, junto con Bagman . Tiene una puntuación sobresaliente de 9.8/10 .
Con una duración de 59 minutos, este episodio es el tercero más largo de Better Call Saul , así como el tercero más largo del universo Breaking Bad .
